The news is.. the new 'Now... Where were we' CD is here.. and I have a lot of them, so hopefully soon I will be getting them out to all of you who have been looking forward to getting it.

But How?... not knowing too much about this kind of thing, I am starting off with making it available through this site... at a cost of £8.50 each plus £1.50 p&p i.e. £10.00 or 15 euros per copy for all UK and EU addresses. America and Australia will cost more to post... but in order to keep things reasonably simple to start we will keep the costs the same... but we would appreciate if payment can be made in either sterling or euros.

We are now going to start talking to ebay and Payloadz about selling over the internet - and that could happen very quickly so hopefully we can get things moving along a bit better. But for now... we are going 'snail mail' - and we apologise for the inconvenience, but if you could send us your name and address on a letter or compliments slip with payment by cheque then we will get a CD away by return. Our handling address is:-

I am greatly looking forward to having the 'Now.... Where were we?' album available very soon and am also hoping eventually to get some sanction from Chrysalis Records to be able to make the 'A Friend of Mine' and 'Read On' albums available.

I have had them both digitally remastered from original studio tapes and they are a great improvement on the vinyls.

Well, who would have thought that after all this time I would be writing like this on my own website - certainly not me!. But my unreserved thanks must be extended to Michael Johnson, an immensley talented and popular singer, songwiter and guitar player who, most generously and almost single-handedly, has been responsible for keeping the JDR 'thread' alive through his own message board (www.mjblue.com) by giving all those who remember JDR a way of keeping in touch.

Please continue to keep in touch.. and thank you so much for hanging on in there for so many years. John Dawson Read. May 2005 "
