John Dawson Read — welcome to my albums

‘One Life’... the new JDR album for 2012 is out NOW, and now, for the first time, it is available on all the major digital download channels including, of course, iTunes. But here you can buy the CD; this is an all-new collection of songs, all recently written and recorded across 2011 by Guy Fletcher... the same Guy Fletcher who produced ‘A Friend of Mine is going Blind’ in 1975 and ‘Read On’ in 1976.  This is John Dawson Read brought ‘up-to-date’. We hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.

'A Friend of Mine is Going Blind' and 'Read On' are digitally remastered from the original studio tapes at the last stage before mastering. As such they have not been 'compressed' like the early albums and sound clearer and fresher. They are currently copied as CDRs, as is 'Rough Cuts', which is reflected in the price of £7.50. They are labelled on the CD face and presented in a paper/plastic sleeve.
